Are you located in the Upper Midwest (Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Iowa)? Do you have a GREAT idea on how to advance social justice in Asian American and Pacific Islander communities that you want to implement but you just need a little bit of financial support to make it happen? If you do, consider applying for a BMPP micro-grant.
We are looking for unique ideas to support Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders to build a better world where individuals are nurtured and families are supported so that their communities can achieve their full potential. By unique we mean new, inventive, and timely projects.
PLEASE NOTE: We will not support existing or ongoing projects. If the project builds out a new area of an existing program then please explain how so we will consider it.
This year we are especially interested in projects that support work that addresses the intersections of race/ethnicty, class, and gender.

We accept proposals on a rolling basis, but only meet two times a year to approve grants, so please submit your proposals according to when you need the funds. Proposals submitted between January - June will be reviewed and awarded in July. Proposals submitted between July - November will be reviewed and awarded in December.
Your on-line applications cannot be saved, so we suggest you copy and paste the questions on a Word document and then work on it till you are satisfied. When you are ready come back and submit your on-line application. The on-line applications do not save as you work on them, and we will not receive a complete proposal till you click on the 'SUBMIT' button.
